Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 63 words
In a method of radioimaging an internal region of an animal wherein a radiopaque agent is introduced into the region and the region is X-rayed while perfused with the radiopaque agent, the improvement which comprises employing as the radiopaque agent a perfluorobromoalkyl ether of the formula: C.sub.m F.sub.2m+1 OC.sub.n F.sub.2n Br where m and n independently are integers of from 2 to 6.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 63 words
In a method of radioimaging an internal region of an animal wherein a radiopaque agent is introduced into the region and the region is X-rayed while perfused with the radiopaque agent, the improvement which comprises employing as the radiopaque agent a perfluorobromoalkyl ether of the formula: C.sub.m F.sub.2m+1 OC.sub.n F.sub.2n Br where m and n independently are integers of from 2 to 6.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 11 words
The method of claim 1 wherein the ether is F-1-bromobutylisopropyl ether.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 16 words
The method of claim 1 wherein the radiopaque agent comprises an aqueous dispersion of the ether.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 36 words
The method of claim 3 wherein the aqueous dispersion contains about 50-90% by volume of water, about 0.5-10% by weight of a dispersant based on the water content, and about 5-20% by volume of the ether.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 13 words
The method of claim 1 wherein the agent is introduced into a lung.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 10 words
The method of claim 5 wherein the agent is F-1-bromobutylisopropylether.
