Abstract
Abstract A galvanic cell employing a gasket made of an electrically non-conducting material and having a groove in each of the upper and lower surfaces. A first cover has a peripheral skirt positioned and secured inside the groove in the upper surface of the gasket and a second cover has a peripheral skirt positioned and secured inside the groove in the lower surface of the gasket thereby providing a sealed cell.
