Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to novel N- and optionally N'-substituted (N-dichloroacetyl)glycine amides of the formula I with antidote action, to antidote compositions containing such compounds, to selective herbicide compositions containing these antidotes together with herbicidally active compounds and to a method for treating cultivated plants with said compositions.

An herbicide composition, which comprises an antidote of the Formula (I) ##STR5## wherein R 1 and R 2 are the same or different and represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, or together form a hexamethylene group; and R 3 is alkyl or alkenyl; and an herbicidal compound of the Formula (III) ##STR6## wherein R 4 and R 5 are the same or different and represent alkyl, cycloalkyl, or together form a hexamethylene group; and R 6 is alkyl; or an herbicidal compound of the formula (IV) ##STR7## wherein R 7 and R 8 are the same or different and represent an alkyl group; and R 9 stands for alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl, or pyrazolylalkyl; in association with at least one carrier or diluent.
