Compounds containing piperidine groups, as stabilizers for synthetic polymers

Claim 1

A compound of the formula ##STR26## in which R 1 is hydrogen, O--, cyanomethyl, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 3 -C 12 -alkenyl or -alkylnyl, C 7 -C 12 -aralkyl or C 1 -C 12 -acyl, m is an integer from 1 to 12 and n is an integer from 1 to 3, and, if n=1, A is a radical ##STR27## in which R 2 and R 3 can be identical or different and are hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl substituted by C 1 -C 18 -alkoxy or C 2 -C 18 -dialkylamino, C 3 -C 18 -alkenyl, C 5 -C 18 -cycloalkyl, C 6 -C 18 -aryl, C 7 -C 18 -aralkyl or a radical of the formula (II) ##STR28## in which R 1 is as defined above, or A is a monovalent radical of a 5-membered to 13-membered heterocyclic compound containing at least one nitrogen atom, the free valency being on the nitrogen atom, and, with n=2, A is a radical of the formula (III), (IV) or (V) ##STR29## in which R 4 , R 6 and R 17 can be identical or different and are as defined for R 2 and R 3 , R 5 is C 2 -C 18 -alkylene, C 4 -C 18 -alkylene substituted by 1 to 3 oxygen atoms, C 5 -C 12 -cycloalkylene, C 6 -C 12 -arylene or C 7 -C 12 -aralkylene, the radicals R 7 -R 16 can be identical or different and are hydrogen or methyl, R 9 together with R 10 and R 13 together with R 14 can be oxygen, p and l indipendently are zero or 1, and, with n=3, A is a radical of the formula (VI) ##STR30## in which R 4 and R 6 are as defined above and q and r can be identical or different and are integers from 2 to 6, or A is a hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5-triyl radical.
