Abstract
Abstract A heat-sensitive recording material which comprises in its color reactant system, as developer for the color former, at least one aluminum or zinc phenate of a phenolsulfonyl compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is C 1 -C 12 alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, benzyl, or phenyl which is substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, nitro or methylenedioxy, and X is hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy.
