Abstract
Abstract Bioreactive materials, for use in forming implants or prostheses, obtained by fusion of a mixture of 20 to 50% by weight of SiO 2 , 15 to 25% by weight of CaO, 5 to 10% by weight of P 2 O 5 , 15 to 25% by weight of Na 2 O and 3 to 15% by weight of Al 2 O 3 , or their metallic precursors yielding equivalent quantities of oxides by fusion.
