Abstract

Abstract Disclosed are bis(4-oxyalkylated-2,6-dialkylphenol) adducts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid having the formula: ##STR1## wherein each R is a 2,6-dialkyl moiety having the formula: ##STR2## wherein each R 1 is selected from the group consisting of branched alkyl groups having from about 4 to about 8 carbon atoms and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a methyl group and ethyl group. These compounds are useful as stabilizers in organic materials against oxidative degradation.
