Abstract
Abstract A recording material composed of an electron donating colorless dye and electron accepting compound is disclosed. The electron accepting compound is a phenol or naphthol compound having, as a substituent, an aryloxysulfonyl group which can be substituted or an alkoxysulfonyl group which can be substituted. The resulting material provides sufficient color density and strong color fastness by coloration reaction.
