Abstract
Abstract A heat-sensitive recording material is disclosed. The material is comprised of an electron donating colorless dye an electron accepting compound. The electron accepting compound is represented by general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylcarbonyl group, an arylcarbonyl group, an alkylsulfonyl group or an arylsulfonyl group. The resulting heat-sensitive recording material is capable of producing an image with improved color density while avoiding an increase in undesirable fog density.
