Abstract

Abstract A conditioning shampoo composition is disclosed containing a nonionic surfactant of the alkanolamide or amine oxide type, an amine functional methylsiloxane polymer, a detersive surfactant of the anionic or amphoteric type, and water. A method of preparing the shampoo composition as a stable solution is also disclosed. During use, the shampoo composition simultaneously cleanses the hair and deposits the siloxane polymer conditioning component on the hair.
