Abstract
Abstract There is disclosed an organic cation R+, designated Diquat-7, having the formula: (CH3)3-N+-R1-N+-(CH3)3 wherein R1 is a saturated or unsaturated straight chain hydrocarbon group containing seven carbon atoms. There is also disclosed a method of preparing Diquat-7, and salts and hydroxide thereof.
