Abstract
Abstract A composition of matter comprised of cinnamaldehyde and one or more esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, commonly known as parabens, is disclosed. The composition exhibits synergistic activity against a wide range of microorganisms which contaminate ingestible products.
