Abstract

Abstract A loudspeaker diaphragm is disclosed which is formed of a slurry of cellulose fibers and polypropylene fibers. In the fabrication of the diaphragm, a felt is made of the slurry, and the felt is subjected to sufficient heat and pressure to fuse the polypropylene fibers together to form a skeleton or matrix which extends through the felt.
