Abstract A radiation image storage panel comprises a substrate and a stimulable phosphor layer provided on the substrate. At least a part of the edges of end faces of the radiation image storage panel on the substrate side is chamfered. At least the end face of the radiation image storage panel including the chamfered edge is covered with a polymer film.
