Abstract

Abstract By-product effluent streams from pyrolytic hydrocarbon cracking processes, containing monoolefins and diolefins, are treated to hydrogenate the olefins and to aromatize the aliphatics, with a catalyst comprising silicoaluminophosphates (SAPO-5, SAPO-11 etc.).
