A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent wherein the cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex contains at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (I) described below and at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) described below: ##STR8## wherein R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and Q represents a cyan coupler residue capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidized aromatic primary amine developing agent, ##STR9## wherein R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and R 3 and R 4 , which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group which may be a straight chain, a branched chain or a cyclic, or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, wherein the repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) is derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer which does not have an ability of oxidative coupling with an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and wherein the polymer further contains a repeating unit derived from a non-color forming monomer which does not couple with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent other than the repeating unit represented by the general formula (II).

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent wherein the cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex contains at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (I) described below and at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) described below: ##STR8## wherein R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and Q represents a cyan coupler residue capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidized aromatic primary amine developing agent, ##STR9## wherein R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and R 3 and R 4 , which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group which may be a straight chain, a branched chain or a cyclic, or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, wherein the repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) is derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer which does not have an ability of oxidative coupling with an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and wherein the polymer further contains a repeating unit derived from a non-color forming monomer which does not couple with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent other than the repeating unit represented by the general formula (II).
