Abstract
Abstract An image forming apparatus such as a copying machine has a memory for storing a signal corresponding to the amount of movement of a paper feed roll. The paper is fed to an image forming station and a controller is provided for moving the paper feed roll to a predetermined rotation position when the operation of the apparatus is suspended by detection of a jam.
