Abstract
Abstract The valve mechanism controls the flow of ink from a pressurized ink supply to a plurality of ink nozzles for printing bar codes. The mechanism includes a valve ball and a valve seat and an elastic diaphragm is positioned opposite the valve seat and is movable by action of a spring-loaded magnet armature to move the valve ball against the valve seat.
