Claim 3
Dependent Claim 13 words
The composition as defined in claim 1 wherein said proline analog is cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline.
Claim 4
Independent Claim 32 words
A method for the synthesis of polymer of any of the proline analogs defined in claims 1 or 2 wherein the proline analogs are linked through ester bonds to a polypeptide chain.
Claim 5
Independent Claim 45 words
A method for the control of the cellular synthesis of collagen fibers in animals in an area where scar tissue formation can occur, which comprises the topical application of an effective amount of the composition as defined in claims 1 or 2 in said area.
