Abstract

Abstract A cathode-ray tube display device including first and second cathode-ray tube displays. The first cathode-ray tube displays an entire screen full of characters and symbols or the like in dot matrix form. One of the characters from the first cathode-ray tube can be transferred and displayed upon the second cathode-ray tube with the use of a light pen applied to the screen of the first cathode-ray tube display. The selected character can then be edited or corrected on the second cathode-ray tube display and then transferred back to the first cathode-ray tube display.
