Abstract

Abstract Filament reinforced phenolic resin products are provided which comprise a plurality of filaments and a cured, normally liquid phenolic resin interspersed around the filaments. The filaments can be in the form of continuous fibers, roving, woven roving, cloth and mat. The products are useful in structural applications. Also disclosed are novel glycol-modified resole phenolic resins and oligomeric polyol-modified resole phenolic resins.
