A paint formulation comprising: from about 4 to 25% by weight of a resin binder comprising an epoxy resin compound derived from bisphenol A and epichlorhydrin which are hardened with polyamines selected from the group consisting of polyaminoamides, diethylene triamine, triethylene tetramine and coal tar amines; from about 43 to 90% by weight zinc dust; from about 3 to 38% by weight Mn 3 O 4 fume pigment; from 0 to about 35% by weight of additional pigments including pigment extenders and fillers; from 0 to 5% by weight of a pigment suspension agent; and the balance being a solvent in an amount required for proper application viscosity.
