Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim
75 words
An apparatus for an acoustic transducer comprising: a flexible circuit board having a first layer of a plurality of conductive traces and a second layer of insulation; a piezoelectric block having a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached to a part of said circuit board first layer; and attachment means for directly attaching each of said plurality of piezoelectric elements to one of said plurality of conductive traces to form a plurality of individual transducer elements.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
75 words
An apparatus for an acoustic transducer comprising: a flexible circuit board having a first layer of a plurality of conductive traces and a second layer of insulation; a piezoelectric block having a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached to a part of said circuit board first layer; and attachment means for directly attaching each of said plurality of piezoelectric elements to one of said plurality of conductive traces to form a plurality of individual transducer elements.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
35 words
The apparatus as in claim 1 further comprising a backing attached to a portion of the first layer of said flexible circuit board on a surface opposite to the surface attached to said piezoelectric block.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
