Abstract
Abstract A method for determining the level of tumor associated glycolinkage containing substance (TAG) in a sample of body fluid which comprises reacting the TAG in a sample of the body fluid with a lectin to form a TAG-lectin complex and measuring the amount of the TAG-lectin complex or an unreacted lectin and a kit for use in such method are disclosed. The method is useful for the diagnosis of various cancers or tumors.
