Abstract
Abstract N 6 -2-hydroxypropylaryl-substituted adenosines and adenines represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is selected from the group consisting of naphthyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl or biphenyl; and R 2 is hydrogen or 1-β-ribosyl; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are anti-hypertensive agents.
