Abstract

Abstract The device comprises a temperature sensor placed in contact with a heat-carrying fluid circulating in the engine and a control device responsive to the sensor for the purpose of supplying power to the motor or motors driving the ventilator or ventilators in accordance with variations in the temperature of the heat-carrying fluid. The temperature sensor comprises a component which is sensitive to a continuous range of temperatures and this component is connected, as an input element, to a continuous regulating loop regulating the power supplied to the motor or motors. This loop comprises a threshold circuit which determines the lower value of the temperature range.
