Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 30 words
A process for preparing 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine, wherein S-adenosyl-methionine, in concentrated aqueous solution, is hydrolysed by heating under reflux, and the 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine formed is separated by cooling after neutralising the reaction mixture.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 30 words
A process for preparing 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine, wherein S-adenosyl-methionine, in concentrated aqueous solution, is hydrolysed by heating under reflux, and the 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine formed is separated by cooling after neutralising the reaction mixture.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 22 words
A process as claimed in claim 1, wherein the aqueous solution of S-adenosyl-methionine is concentrated by heating under vacuum to 35°-40° C.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
A process as claimed in claim 1, wherein the 5'-deoxy-5'-methylthioadenosine formed is precipitated by cooling to 0°-5° C.
