Abstract

Abstract Granulocytes are advantageously collected from blood cell suspensions, especially blood or other body fluids, by bringing the blood cell suspensions into contact with a granulocyte-separating material comprising a carrier, such as a fiber, having supported thereon a fatty acid derivative containing a fatty acid moiety having 10 to 22 carbon atoms, whereby granulocytes are adsorbed on the granulocyte-separating material; and then, recovering the adsorbed granulocytes therefrom.
