Abstract
Abstract The invention provides a multilayer plastics film comprising at least two film layers, one of which has a thickness of 10 to 50 μm and a softening point of 140° to 200° C., and the other of which has a thickness of 10 to 50 μm, a softening point of 70° to 130° C. and initial melting point of from 100° to 190° C., there being a temperature difference of from 30° to 60° C. between the softening point and initial melting point of the latter film. The invention also provides processes for making such multilayer plastics films and their use for applying to articles, particularly foamed plastics, a firmly adhering skin.
