Abstract
Abstract An optical scanning device has a mirror for light scanning, a motor composed of an armature and a stator, a case for supporting said stator of the motor, a torsion rod for generating a restituting force against the driving force of said motor to limit the rotating angle of said armature, and a speed detecting element. Said torsion rod is fixedly supported at one end thereof by said case and rotatably supported at the other end thereof by a bearing member. Said mirror, said armature and said speed detecting element are provided between both the supported ends of said torsion rod.
