A photographic material comprising a support layer and, applied thereto, at least one light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and, optionally, further layers, wherein at least one layer contains a compound corresponding to formula (I) below: ##STR14## in which R represents alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl or cycloalkyl; R 1 , R 2 and R 3 which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl; R 4 represents hydrogen or --COR 5 ; R 5 represents alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or --OR 6 and R 6 represents alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl said compound being present in an amount sufficient to stabilize said photographic material against fogging.
