Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 15
Claim 1
Independent Claim 65 words
A method for radioassaying a warmblooded animal which comprises administering to said animal an essentially organic solvent-free, aqueous solution containing a small amount of a radioactive indium-8-hydroxyquinoline or blood cells radioactivity labeled by said solution, said amount being sufficient for detection by external imaging, and subjecting said animal to external imaging for detecting accumulated radioactivity to determine its location in the body of said animal.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 65 words
A method for radioassaying a warmblooded animal which comprises administering to said animal an essentially organic solvent-free, aqueous solution containing a small amount of a radioactive indium-8-hydroxyquinoline or blood cells radioactivity labeled by said solution, said amount being sufficient for detection by external imaging, and subjecting said animal to external imaging for detecting accumulated radioactivity to determine its location in the body of said animal.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 12 words
A method of claim 1 in which said animal is a mammal.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 22 words
A method of claim 1 or 2 in which said animal has an inflamed area, the location of which is thereby detected.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
A method of claim 1 or 2 in which the radioactive material is indium-111-8-hydroxyquinoline.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 20 words
A method of claim 4 in which said animal has an inflamed area, the location of which is thereby detected.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 26 words
A method of claim 1 or 2 in which the radioactive material administered to said animal contains about 0.02 to 10 millicuries of radioactivity per milliliter.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 20 words
A method of claim 6 in which said animal has an inflamed area, the location of which is thereby detected.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 23 words
An aqueous solution containing a small amount of a radioactive indium-8-hydroxyquinoline suitable for use in radioassaying and being essentially free of organic solvent.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 23 words
An aqueous solution containing a small amount of a radioactive indium-8-hydroxyquinoline suitable for use in radioassaying and being essentially free of organic solvent.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 12 words
A solution of claim 8 in which the radioactive material is indium-111-8-hydroxyquinoline.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 24 words
A solution of claim 8 or 9 in which the amount of indium-8-hydroxyquinoline as an oxine is about 0.005 to 0.2 milligram per milliliter.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 22 words
A solution of claim 8 or 9 which contains a small amount of sodium chloride sufficient for the solution to be isotonic.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 19 words
A solution of claim 11 in which the amount of sodium chloride is about 0.1 to 1 weight percent.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 22 words
A solution of claim 12 in which the amount of indium-8-hydroxyquinoline as an oxine is about 0.005 to 0.2 milligram per milliliter.
