Abstract
Abstract A lubricant composition for processing polyolefin resins is disclosed. The lubricant composition comprises a mixture of from about 60 to 70 parts by weight of an N,N'-ethylenebis amide of a fatty acid or hydroxy-substituted fatty acid, from about 22 to about 32 parts by weight of a free fatty acid or hydroxy-substituted fatty acid, and from about 3 to about 13 parts by weight of a metal salt of a fatty acid or hydroxy-substituted fatty acid. The lubricant composition is particularly useful in the calendering of polypropylene homopolymers and copolymers.
