Abstract
Abstract In a welded metallic can wherein the can body is covered at its joint portion with a film of an organic polymeric resin, the improvement wherein said film is characterized by being a multilayered film having at least one layer of a film of an organic polymeric resin and at least one layer selected from the group consisting of metallic foils, evaporation coated metallic layers and electroplated metallic layers, and further characterized in that the layer disposed adjacent the welded can is the film of an organic polymeric resin.
