Abstract
Abstract A photographic image-forming method comprising imagewise exposing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive element containing a specific hydroquinone derivative in the silver halide emulsion layer of substantially the surface latent image type or at least one hydrophilic colloid layer thereof and then developing the exposed light-sensitive element in the presence of a specific hydrazine compound. The method forms a photographic image having markedly high negative gradation.
