Abstract
Abstract A fast curing foamable composition useful for the production of fabric-like materials comprises a resin or latex formulation and a mixture of a highly ethoxylated alkylphenol, an alkali metal N-alkyl sulfosuccinamate and an alkali metal alkyl sulfate.

A foamable mixture comprising: (a) 2 to 20 parts of a highly ethoxylated alkylphenol of the formula: ##STR3## wherein R is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms and x has an average value of from 20 to 200; (b) 2 to 20 parts of an alkali metal N-alkyl sulfosuccinamate of the formula: ##STR4## wherein R' is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl having from 16 to 24 carbon atoms and M is hydrogen or an alkali metal atom with the proviso that at least one M group is an alkali metal atom; and (c) 3 to 40 parts of an alkali metal alkyl sulfate of the formula: R"OSO.sub.3 M wherein R" is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl having from 7 to 24 carbon atoms and M' is an alkali metal atom.
