Abstract This invention relates to thiazine quaternary ammonium salts of polyepihalohydrin and the preparation and uses thereof. The compositions are ideally expressed by the polymer unit ##STR1## where Z is S, SO, or SO 2 , R is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group, R' is a hydrocarbon group and X is halogen.
