Abstract

Abstract Detergent compositions having good cleaning performance and also textile softening properties comprise an organic surfactant, alkaline reacting water-soluble salts and a specified class of tertiary amines. Optionally and preferably a smectite-type clay is also present in the compositions. The present invention relates to detergent compositions which clean well and at the same time act as textile softeners.
