Abstract

Abstract The toughness of polybutylene terephthalate can be considerably improved by the addition of an ABS-graft copolymer having a relatively high content of graft base and a closely defined particle size; the typical properties of polybutylene terephthalate, such as its high dimensional heat stability, hardness and rigidity, are not substantially reduced. The products show an excellent multiaxial impact strength.
