Abstract

Abstract The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing a succession of pulses corresponding to the succession of pulse beats of a person. The apparatus has a pulse detector and at least one stage subsequent to the pulse detector to suppress disruptive influences. The invention is characterized by a voltage-controlled pulse generator which is controlled by a comparator. The comparator compares the contents of two memories of which the first stores the pulse coming from the pulse detector and the second stores the pulse appearing at the output of the pulse generator.
