Abstract
Abstract Biologically active hypoxic cell radiosensitizers of the formula <IMAGE> wherein Z is a C2-C4 alkylene group which may be substituted by OH; wherein R1 and R2 are same or different substituted or unsubstituted C1-C4 alkyl groups, or R1 and R2 taken together with the nitrogen atom form a heterocyclic ring of the formula <IMAGE> wherein n=0 or 1, with the condition that when n=0, m=2 or 3 and when n=1, m=1 or 2; X and Y are hydrogen, an electron withdrawing group or X and Y taken together form a six-membered carboxylic aromatic ring.
