Abstract

Abstract A fixation object for maintaining the direction of the line of vision of an eye to be examined and a bright test object movable in a plane conjugate with the fundus of the eye with respect to an observation optical system are provided. A partial beam split from a beam emitted from the test object or a beam emitted from an auxiliary lamp cooperating with the test object is guided to an image pick-up tube for detecting the eye fundus image formed through the observation optical system. Further, recording paper and a marker cooperating with the test object are provided for memorizing the position of the test object each time the examination of an eye is completed. The images of the marks recorded on the recording paper are superposed on the eye fundus image and observed and photographed.
