Abstract
Abstract A tooth cavity is filled by applying to the walls of the tooth cavity a lining composition comprising a phosphoric or phosphonic acid ester compound containing at least one radical polymizerable vinyl group and at least one <IMAGE> group, wherein said lining composition contains said phosphoric or phosphonic acid ester compound in a proportion of not less than 0.1 weight percent, as phosphorus, and then filling the remainder of the cavity with a dental filling material which comprises a polymerizable monomer, a filler and a curing agent.
