Abstract
Abstract A polycarbonate such as a bisphenol-A homopolycarbonate containing a small amount of a metal salt of an aromatic sulfonamide, e.g., the sodium salt of saccarin or a derivative thereof, resists combustion upon exposure to a low temperature ignition source.
