Abstract
Abstract 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(2'-perfluoroalkyl-2'-perhaloalkyl-vinyl)-cyclopropane of the formula ##STR1## in which R is --COOR 2 , --COOH, --CO--Halogen, --CN or --CO--CH 3 , R 1 is fluorine or CF 3 , R 3 is fluorine, chlorine, bromine or R 1 CF 2 --, and R 2 is the radical of an alcohol which possess arthropodicidal properties. These compounds can be produced by adding a compound of the formula ##STR2## to an olefin of the formula ##STR3## to produce a compound of the formula ##STR4## and dehydrohalogenating said compound. This compound may be hydrolyzed, saponified or esterified, depending upon the particular derivative desired.
