Abstract

Abstract A catalyst is made by creating a deficiency of hydroxyl groups in a hydroxyl containing support and contacting the support, while thus activated with a solution of a substance providing a catalytically active material. Generally the catalyst is made by contacting the solution with freshly crushed pellets of, for instance, a zeolite.
