Abstract
Abstract A dry-cell battery construction includes a zinc electrode and a graphite electrode. An external electrolyte of a raw paste material from vegetal origin contacts the zinc electrode. The external electrolyte is preferably raw paste material of the fruit of the carica papaya. The filler material which contacts the graphite electrode contains carbon black. The carbon black may be acetylene black, but can be carbon black of other types, preferably petroleum black, but also oven black or the like, including carbon black produced from natural gas.
