Abstract
Abstract A liquid detergent system wherein the active content is a combination of an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant in the form of alkoxylated partial glycerol esters of a detergent grade fatty acid and optionally containing a foam stabilizing agent. The indicated nonionics are characterized in having a polyoxyalkylene chain composed of randomly distributed oxyethylene and oxypropylene residues. These systems are particularly useful for formulating shampoos and light duty liquid household cleaning compositions having low eye and skin irritation properties.
