Abstract A new composition of matter, 1-β-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine-5'-oleyl phosphate, represented by the structural formula ##STR1## and its pharmaceutically-acceptable salts exhibit antitumor properties and are especially useful for oral administration thereof.
