Abstract
Abstract Paper is coated or sized with a composition which includes in addition to the used paper-treating agents one or more cationic compounds and a dispersion of a polymer soluble in an alkaline medium and consisting of an alkali metal salt or alkaline earth salt of an unsaturated carboxylic acid, or a copolymer obtained by polymerization or an unsaturated carboxylic acid with acrylic or methacrylic acid esters.
